Simple mechanism, High Precision and Facilitates mounting
Simple structure consists of magnet and coil only. Because no friction is produced, the motor is maintenance-free and produces no noise or dust. Offers high efficiency and large thrust with short coil.
No friction is produced so there is no error due to heat expansion. Thrust is no affected by gap fluctuation.
The outer surface of the shaft is stainless steel. Because no iron is used at all, there is minimal attraction between coil and shaft, and no cogging is produced. Because drive is non-contact, there is no structural precision error (backlash) such as is produced in the gaps of ball screws.
No absorption power between coil and shaft. Wide gap between shaft and coil, thrust not affected by eccentricity.
Can be easily converted from conventional ball screw system. Shaft shape facilitates design and assembly.
